Work at Stanton Crescent Reserve is now complete.

We did consultation with the community and received feedback from 33 community members for Stanton Crescent Reserve through an online survey, phone calls and emails directly to our Open Space Planning Team. We used your comments to make changes to the proposed designs so that these playgrounds would better serve the community.

We heard what you said and some of the changes include:

Stanton Crescent Reserve

The proposed design was revised and playground supplier was changed in order to offer more play value/equipment.

The new playground includes:

• A triple swing with an infant seat, a slash seat and a basket.
• A multi-play unit with two slides, timber panel with wheel, inclined rope bridge, climbing wall, rail ladder and monkey bars.
• Two skillion roofs for shade.

Please note: We decided not to proceed with the basketball court in this reserve as most of the feedback received was against its installation.

Stanton Crescent Reserve, Rosanna is a triangular reserve with three entry points from surrounding streets. It’s surrounded by residential properties and has lots of eucalyptus and pine trees.

This playground has served the community well for over 20 years and is now scheduled for renewal. We would like your feedback on the proposed designs so we can continue to provide a high quality playground experience.

We are planning to replace the existing playground with new and improved equipment to meet your needs.

Proposed improvements include:

• A playground with;
  • One swing set with a strap seat and a toddler seat
  • A slide, a log walkway, a platform with a roof, a vertical net and climbing posts
  • Monkey bars
• Timber construction
• Organic look, connecting the playspace with the natural environment

We are also exploring the option to install a half basketball court. This will not happen as part of the playground renewal, but we are keen to know your thoughts.
