About this space

Located on Gleeson Drive, the Layola Reserve playground is a favourite place to play for locals and children attending nearby schools. It is one of our busiest small playgrounds in the municipality.

The playground currently offers two combination units, one with a wave slide, chain bridge, flying fox and the other with a slide, climbing mat and shop front. In addition, visitors can enjoy the swings, springer, basketball court, barbeque and seating.

In addition to visiting the Concord School, we will be inviting you to meet us at the playground to talk through some design options for your new playground.

Give us your feedback on what you’d like to see included in the new playground equipment.

What should we consider as we plan the replacement of this playground?

Lauren says:

Would love to see a large free standing communication board to put near the edge of the playground. This would support Concord School students and members of the community access and develop language to comment and communicate with others. We (Concord School Allied Health team) would love to work together to share ideas and resources.
