Thank you for your interest, a Towards Zero Waste Community Reference Group has been formed and will be meeting regularly to help us improve how waste is dealt with in Banyule.

Working together towards Zero Waste

To help us plan for dealing with waste into the future we want to work alongside you to identify local solutions. We recognise that engaging with the community by providing information and consulting with individuals and organisations ensures a more collaborative decision making process that increases community support.

Our new Plan will include a implementation plan to ensure existing waste management “best practices” and emerging new technologies are considered. We are excited to work with you to “think outside of the square” in the development of our Towards Zero Waste Management Plan.
