The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) is building a new walking and cycling path along the rail corridor next to Petrie Park. As the proposed path will impact the location of the playground, Council is working with DTP on designs for the path and the playground to achieve the best outcomes for our community and park users.

While these discussions have delayed the original time frames for the project, it's important that we reconsider the designs to incorporate the new shared path.
