Work to begin from 8 July on the next stages of the East Ivanhoe streetscape upgrade.

From the week of 8 July to 22 July in Wilfred Road, we will be:

• Updating indented parking
• Laying new footpath surface on both sides of Wilfred Road
• Placing a temporary site shed for equipment on the side of Wilfred Road while this work is underway.

From the week of 22 July to 12 August in Burton Crescent, we will be:

• Installing a new asphalt footpath on the Post Office side of Burton Crescent
• Laying bluestone paving in outdoor dining area on Post Office side
• Landscaping around outdoor dining area on Post Office side

We’ll construct the raised crossings in Wilfred Road and Burton Crescent at a later stage.

Disruption

There will be some disruption as we undertake the upgrade works, and we thank you for your patience while we are building a better East Ivanhoe Shopping Village. Pedestrian access will be maintained as much as possible except during the brief periods when new path sections are being laid.

Extreme weather and unforeseen circumstances can impact on construction timelines, but we’ll let you know if there are any big changes to the schedule.
