We are entering an exciting phase for East Ivanhoe!

We’re pleased to have Stage 1 of the upgrade underway and have improved the layout of Burton Crescent carpark and fixed drainage problems. Works are currently on hold until early July due to permit delays with Authorities.

In early July we will re-commence works in Burton Crescent with a safer pedestrian crossing and upgraded footpath, seating and tables beside the Post Office. This will match new street furniture for Lower Heidelberg Road.

The existing street furniture in Burton Crescent will be re-used next to St George’s Church in Warncliffe Avenue.

There will be some disruption as we undertake the upgrade works, and we thank you for your patience while we are building a better East Ivanhoe Shopping Village. Pedestrian access will be maintained as much as possible except during the brief periods when new path sections are being laid.

Extreme weather and unforeseen circumstances can impact on construction timelines, but we’ll let you know if there are any big changes to the schedule.
