North East Link Community Information Session

Banyule Council would like to invite you to its upcoming North East Link Community Information Session scheduled for Tuesday 26 November 2019.

You will hear about the North East Link project and what we are doing to achieve better outcomes for the community, including:

  • Council's closing submission to the Inquiry and Advisory Committee, including the benefits of the long tunnel option.
  • Next steps in the Environmental Effects Statement process.
  • North East Link early works and the tender process for the main project.
  • Expected project timelines.
  • Council's advocacy.
  • Sporting club relocation.
  • Potential complementary projects.
  • Positive ideas from the Ethos Urban report on Watsonia.
  • Impacts on Borlase Reserve if it is the launch site of the tunnel boring machine.
  • Potential permanent truck ban for Rosanna Road.

We will also provide an opportunity for networking and for community groups to share their views.

The information session will be held on Tuesday 26 November from 6.30pm - 8.30pm at the Greensborough Customer Service Centre, Level 4, 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough.
