Cartledge Reserve, 114 Valentine Street, Ivanhoe

This reserve could bring families and young people together with some additional play elements for local preteens and early teens. The element could include in the future adventure play, ninja warrior elements, pump track and a ping pong or futsal table.

Ivanhoe Park, 132 Lower Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe

Future youth facilities could include outdoor hangout and social spaces, parkour bars, and skateable elements.

Additional site recommendations 800m from Ivanhoe Station

There is no site recommendation among the four open spaces we assessed within 800m catchment from Ivanhoe station.

The open space in front of Ivanhoe Library is a great urban space for young people. Its location, safety, and youth space function are all rated highly in the assessment matrix. But since it has already been well-considered and developed, the report does not make additional recommendations for this site.
